Fuel pump issues
My land rover discovery 2 won't start. The fuel pump went out so we bought new one put it in and it started right up. It ran for maybe 20 miles and shut off and wouldn't start. We put new hoses on it and it started again ran for a couple miles shut off again, I have owned it for 5 months now and it has ran a total of three weeks and I have been trying to figure out why it will not start. I recently took it to a mechanic he had it for 4 days and can't figure out why it won't start, all he can say is it's the computer. Please help I don't know what else to do, if I can't get this going I'm going to blow it up. So frustrated. Help

If I understand, the car would not start until you replaced the fuel pump then it started but would not run properly after that(or stay running and now it won't start as if it has no fuel).
did you replace with a new fuel pump? Did you install a new fuel pump ring seal?
I'm guessing you still have fuel pressure issues. I would put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and check that first. You can't see it but it is under and behind the upper intake at the firewall, more towards driver side.
check eBay for a pic of the fuel rail and that will show you where the valve is.
if that checks out, as Charlie said maybe CPS, but I dont think you would have spark if that's the case.
