really haven't gone in depth about the gas mileage. i drove 2 my home town this past weekend. i got a little over 100 miles on half a tank. i am using 92 or 93 octane. a friend of mine suggested that i try using Seafoam gas treatment. city miles i probably 10mi/gal. consumer reports also states that the 03 Landrover's gas mileage is poor. another friend of mine has an 06 LR3 and is talking about getting rid of it due 2 poor gas mileage. i believe there is something else that can be done besides regular tuneups to help out the gas situation. there is too much technology out there. if you can change a car's performance w/ a computer chip, then you should be able to do the same w/ poor gas mileage.

One thing you need to know, people have to accept the fact the Rovers get bad gas mileage as do all 4X4's currently being sold, even the little crappy 4X4 Suzuki's only get 18 on the road.
Do a real mileage test and get back to use, maybe there is something that can be done but we need something more exact then you got about 100 miles on half a tank.
I live in Denver and I get about as good a mileage as you can, especially when you factor in the 7000 foot elevation I live in and the fact that my truck weighs 5650 pounds, nearly 1000 more then stock. I get right at 13 doing stop and go around town and 18.3 on the highway at 65 MPH. It took a little effort to get that sort of mileage and for the most part, it won't get any better.
