Default Head Up Display (HUD)

A HUD which works very well on most Landrovers and operated from the OBD2 port.

It may be of interest to some FYI. I already have one installed which is OK for motorway driving particularly at night.

Looks pretty cool for that price, the spedo and tach are unneeded but having the actual temp and volt right if front of you is great. It would cost that to put in a real temp. Guage

I would like to see one that you could pick only the gauges that you want to see. For example, oil pressure, water temp, voltage. I have no need for tach and speedometer. I would like to mount, hidden as much as possible, and project to the left, near the pillar or to the right, between the dash and the rear view mirror.

I guess you could always cover up the gauges you don't want to see with paint or tape or something.

With my HUD which is slightly different I can select whatever combination of display that I choose. IMO the HUD is great for night driving but I still use the regular additional gauges for coolant temp, oil pressure etc as I'm sceptical of 'trick' electronics. The one alarm on the HUD that I find useful is the overspeed particularly when the 'boys in blue' are following.

Very similar, brightish at night and faded during daylight. I can project the image anywhere along the dash onto the windshield so I chose the centre of the screen in my eyeline periphery. In all honesty I bought it as a 'toy gadget' to play with but realised it was actually useful as it also shows many fault codes.
