Default Axle Hud Repair and Pads Question.

I know that there are there are 2 seals, one inside the hub and an an o-ring between the hub and the axle. I will figure out which one to replace once I get it apart. Hopefully it is the o-ring.

But my question though concerns the pads. I know I can just clean the rotor and replace the pads. These pads and rotors only have 10K on them; all OEM. Do you think it is alright to replace just the pads on the side of the rover with the axle leak? Or do I need to replace the pads on both sides for even wear? Even at 10K miles the pads look almost brand new with a lot of wear left on them. It is the rear passenger side axle with the leak.

Never mind...I just found out you can only buy pads in pairs of both left and right. Looks like I will have a little more work to do.

It is always a good idea to replace wear items like brakes in pairs.
