I just purchased my first discovery and it started ran great it had a dead battery so I used a jump box drove it home parked it went to put the jump box back on it to show my wife how it sounded and the alarm went off so I disconnected it replaced the battery with a brand new one and now she won't start it seems as though the security system has locked me out and won't let power windows work radio or anything I'm at a loss any help would be much appreciated

 

You need an OBDII tool to clear the codes and reset the alarm.

*but there is a small chance that if you use your key to lock the driver's door, then turn it to the right again to lock all doors, and then turn it left twice to unlock all doors, that the alarm will disarm (with battery connected) and allow you to drive again

 

I scanned it cleared codes this morning and tried the key lock still no luck i didn't realize there was a seprate forum sorry
