Hi all,

I have a 2003 Discovery TD5 Auto.

I rarely have it it low range (first time in months) I engaged Low Range with some difficulty yesterday and now it's stuck there.

The Low Range gear shift now just flops back to where High Range was with no feeling of pressure at all and remains in Low Range.

Any Ideas ? I live in the bush a fair way from Town so I'd like to try anything
before getting a tow.

Sounds like the cable broke or came off the linkage somehow. Just a guess.
