Default Hit and run: Land rover guru needed

saturday evening my sisters car was involved in a hit and run which will likely total her car.

Looking for any information on what model/generation land rover would carry this style/pattern of headlight.

Left behind were pieces of a "Land Rover" badged headlight plastics. Based on the pattern it looks to me to be from a discovery 2? but honestly not sure. below are attached photos of said headlight pieces. this will likely be driver side housing.

Incident happened in the US so this should likely be a model that was widely sold in the states.

any/all help is GREATLY appreciated.

the info i gather here will likely be what I use to call the areas auto body/part shops.

THANK YOU.

Would the range rover turn signal have the "land rover" badge in the plastics like the attached photo?

It could be a Discovery I or II. Earlier Range Rovers of that era (late 90's early 00's) used a similar looking and located turn signal housing as well so I wouldn't discount them. The Land Rover logo on my Disco II's turn signals are on the upper corner closer to the grill if you are facing them. Which would reinforce the idea that the drivers side on the LR would have impacted the car. Depending where you are, there aren't too many Land Rovers of that era on the road especially if you live in an area where cars are prone to rust. I am by no means an expert on this kind of stuff so take it for what it's worth. As you mentioned it'd be good to alert the local body shops to keep an eye out for a LR with driver side front end damage. Best of luck.

Looks a lot like the Disco 2 in this eBay listing: 00 01 02 03 Land Rover Discovery 2 Left/Drivers Front Turn Signal Light | eBay

Disco I has the logo at the bottom based on another eBay image....

My D1 has the logo on bottom inside corner. My D2 lights don't have the logo at all...

Any paint transfer on your sister's car? or Painted parts on the ground? Could help determine year. Is that other piece in the bag painted? May be the part under the light and above the bumper.

Oh! Is that clear piece plastic or glass? If it came from the headlight then you've narrowed it down to 99-02 (glass) or 03-04 (plastic).

There is a clear piece in the second picture, in the bag with the other parts.
