Just replaced my P/S turn signal lens last night.
Here's a picture of the old lens from a few weeks ago, after gluing it back together (damaged during a 4 wheeler adventure weekend up north). I thought there was a LR logo on it, but I'm not seeing it in the picture.
Glued lens fell apart after a little ride out back through the field (no idea why...lol), so I replaced.
The clear glass that folks are mentioning, may have came from your sisters headlight. If it was a Dll that hit the car and it had its original plastic bumper...I wouldn't expect the damage to your sisters car to be that bad, plus, there would be more plastic left behind. And, most of the original plastic bumper end cap pieces are the same color as the vehicle.
Good luck with your investigation.
Brian.

Actually, I'm surprised the police officers even picked up any pieces. Here in Michigan...they'd just tell you to contact your insurance company and there would be no investigation at all (unless someone sustained personal injury or death). Michigan is a no fault state, so police don't have to waste time investigating such matters.

Hey guys, happy to announce that the case is closed. This happened in a college town and just about every online message board/form of social media had its own "feeler" out for a damaged land rover. last night someone came forward. Appears to be a 2000 discovery 2.
Thanks again for all your guy's help. very appreciated!
