If you have already tried to enter code 5 times then you need to leave the car key in the accessory position and leave the radio on for 1hr. After that, just enter the 5 digits from the 1-6 buttons on the radio. Should work after that.

as long as your battery stays connected and doesn't die you won't need to enter the code again, but keep it handy anyway, i have mine written on a piece of paper in the glove box. I'm not sure what you mean about the cd changer though, which lcd screen do you mean?

Cool,
Should stay programmed as long as battery doesnt discharge, battery negative is not removed or you blow the car up or something.

Regarding CD. There are no obvious buttons or screen icons for the CD. If you have the changer it is under the passenger seat but behind a plastic door about 4x7 inches. there is a tab to remove the panel and behind there is the changer. When you have it loaded with CDs your radio will show new functions. For instance if you only have 3 CDs loaded then only 3 of the 1-6 buttons will illuminate.
If your Disco is an SE7 then I believe its standard.

I'm thinking there was a cd changer there because both panels under seats are not there and on passenger side there are 2 plugs that are loose and go to nothing!
