Hi all! I need some advice and which way to head with this. I have a 2000 Disco II and just recently it began making this ungodly squeaking noise when I'm turning. I have no idea what is causing it and if it is something I can do myself or something I need to take to the mechanic. With saying this, about the same time, my ABS and TC control lights began staying on. I put this down to a short or a wiring faultbut could this have anything to do with it or is it just coincidence? My main concern is to stop being looked at when I'm turning corners and driving in parking lots. Are there any grease points that should be checked first? Thank you in advance for your help with this! You always give me sound advice for my problems and I appreciate it!

 

Sounds like you need brakes, have you checked them yet?
If that is the case, get back to us as to where to buy good brake pads then you can start working on the ABS warning light issues.
