Default HOW DO I RECONNECT FUEL LINE TO RAIL

RECENTLY REPLACED INJECTORS (IN 96 DISCO 4.0L) AND REPLACED FUEL RAIL TOO. NOW I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO THREAD FUEL LINE BACK ONTO NEW RAIL. OLD RAIL HAD A SMALL BEAD NEAR THE END OF THE RAIL TO KEEP ONE-HALF OF THREADING NUT FROM SLIPPING OFF WHILE TIGHTENING ONTO OTHER THREAD FROM FUEL LINE. (I ASSUME THE BEAD HELPS LOCK THE LINE). NEW RAIL IS SAME AS OLD, BUT HAS NO BEAD. CAN OLD BEAD BE REUSED? IF SO, HOW DO I GET IN ONTO THE RAIL. IF NOT, CAN I CHANGE THE CONNECTION?

only advice I can give you is call the dealership and ask a technician. other than that, and without a manual, I have no idea

If the fuel rail had a new nut it should have a new bead.
The old bead can be reused if you can get it off with out messing
it up, it is a compression collar.
If you want a new one try a plumbing supply store it must be a precise fit.
The dealer may have them, that would be my 2nd option the first would
be to get the other one off.

Hi Paul here from the uk 22 years landrover tech , the item you are refering to is called an olive and can be obtained from your local auto parts supplier,it is designed to grab the fuel rail as the nut is tightend ,so using the old one is not an option .If you need anymore help give me a shout on this site only too glad to help.
