problems with not starting up right away
i have a 2008 lr2 with only 38k miles on it. in the super hot days of early summer so far (usually when temps outside hit mid 90s) it has not started right away. i ususally have to sit for a few minutes and try to start it up 4-5 times before it finally starts. i tried to solve this by replacing the battery, still having issues. anyone else have experience overcoming this?

I don't remember what thermostat I picked up
I spent last week in Nashville area, 106F, toasty for the area. I would believe that 221 is not a desired temp, and as georgep has mentioned, long term slow roasting over hickory coals can't be good for engines. Certainly time for some cooling system work before it gets worse.
And speaking of hickory coals, man does not live by bread alone. Beer and barbeque make it a complete meal. Martin's in Nolensville is worth a stop.
