Default How ot access wiper motor Rangie

Gday all, any links with detailed instruction on how to access my wiper motor on my '86 3.5 Rangie?
I think I have to remove entire bonnet. I can see the nuts holding the long panel at bottom of windscreen but can't work out how to get to them.
Local repairer quoted three hours at $120/hr! And that's just to get to the motor.
Thanks.

i believe you have to remove the cowl panel in front of the windshield, a bunch of screws around the edge of the panel and two bolts down into the tops of the fenders. iirc

" I think I have to remove entire bonnet"...

You do have to remove it. Remember to mark the hinges with a grease marker, and note if there are any shims. Makes reassembly a lot easier. Then as drowssap said you can remove the decker panel below the windscreen.

Not sure of the bolts that you are referring to.

To remove the DECKER Panel first open the Bonnet, remove the weather strip on the decker panel, and remove the screws. Then look between the decker and the top of the fender/wing and you will see 2 bolts that connect the decker to the fender. Remove these 2 bolts, nothing fancy there is a ton of room & iirc a 10mm socket will get it. Last, open the doors and you will see 2 Philips head screws. Remove these with a long screw driver and the decker panel is free.

Oh, ok. Thanks. It was those two bolts that I couldn't work out how to get to.
Thanks for your help.
