Default HSE soggy shocks

Hey there friends, as well as a Freelander 2 TD4 SE, I just bought a freelander 2 HSE petrol with 70,000km. Is it standard for an HSE to feel much softer? Or is it more likely that the springs and shocks are getting old?
Thanks for any thoughts... Ollie

Springs can cause a difference in ride as can the shocks, at your mileage you are most likely looking at shocks.
