Hey y'all!

I drive a 96 dico 1 and it's keys got seriously lost so I purchased a used tumbler assembly with a key. Everything plugs in but the key wont go past lock. Thoughts?

Might be lock seize in general. mine is currently doing this and I need a new lock barrel. Too exxy to bother so I'm facing the drama every now and then where the key won't move.
It's something to do with the steering lock too, and there is a certain point you can feel the bite.
I've been spraying a little WD40 into the lock then doing the ever so slight jiggle while pulling the wheel to the right or left all the way.
Seems to eventually find the point and off we go.
Longest time trying so far has been over an hour.
Worst time has been at the pump @ servo station. (bugger!)
