My opinion differs for the previous poster but hell isn't that what the internet is all about (people posting different experiences)

I have been a customer of e2 services for a few years now and have been nothing but happy with there service and prices. And from the looks of there parking lot i'm not the only one. Everything they have ever told me i needed they have been willing to go above and beyond to explain and even show me the items. i have even taken may car to the dealer to verify what was wrong once and they gave me an entirely different diagnosis, after telling them what ed and mike at E2 Said i needed they took a second look and came back with a "O yeah that could cause your issue as well" at that point i was sold took my discovery back to ed and mike and its been purring like a kitten ever since. These guys don't beat around the bush and tell you half the story to try and sell you somethings and conveniently over look others ( as i have had happen at the dealer and one other shop in town) they tell you every thing that they can see wrong and let you make an informed decision.

These guys are A++ in my book
Well I guess thats why its good to hear multiple reports, I'm glad you are a happy customer. Again, i'm not saying they rip every customer off or that they don't know what they are doing. (they do have the necessary equipment for specialty items such as ABS, SLS, etc) All I am saying is, beware, and do your homework. I've personally had an experience (and quite the diagnosis and estimate still) that will keep me from ever going back, and I've heard directly from other LR techs that had worked with him when at the LR stealership. But in any case, I at least recommend getting multiple opinions, in which I say if you go to E2 and get a diagnosis and estimate also go see Paul for the same.

Again, if you have the money and don't want to work on your truck yourself, then yes they can do the job competantly. But I wouldn't blindly go in and just confidently write them a check either. Again, not trying to just blindly trash them or their work, but I've heard of too many bad reports to not feel obligated to say something. I DO wish I had the money to have them do a diesel conversion though!

Just wanted to give another shout out to "The Shop" in Norcross, GA. Came across the list here and subsequently took my Rover to them for some pretty major service. They did an awesome job, even including some extras we hadn't requested. Highly recommend them.

WOW 12million people in Illinois, plenty of LRs and not a single shop?? Even though I haven't seen it, there will be shops in Chicago, but that is too far for any practical purpose.
I live in Peoria, Central Illinois, and so far I have been able to do everything myself. 165K and going strong, but "Elsa" is not getting any younger.
