Default Jarred tire warning lights staying on.....thoughts?

So, I was coming down this steep wash and jarred the front driver side tire on a rock. Now my 2004 Discovery SE has its warning ligts staying on. The following lights stay on after start:

1. ABS Light
2. Brake Light
3. TC Traction Control Light
4. DownHill steep degrade light

I have a error code reader and tried clearing the codes, but they stay on even after cleared. The msg I get is: "P1590: mnfcr cntrl, speed idle control, auxillary inputs"..

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated?

Thx
L

1590 is a rough road/ABS fault code.
Nothing to fix to correct it but you will find when a mechanic goes to clear your ABS faults that there will be mutiple codes, most will not neede parts just clearing.
A test that will give you some more information for your mechanic would be to go do a panic stop from 30MPH and see if you still fell the ABS pulsation thru your brake pedal. If you do that is goo, if not that is costly.
Go find a good mechanic cause there is nothing you can do with this.

So what is your next step?
Go out and try a hard stop from 30 MPH can you feel your ABS pulsate thru the brake pedal?

Well, Mike I'm not really sure. I live in an area of Southern AZ that has alot of dirt roads. I drive them daily. I also am used to feeling the ABS working. I did what you told me (panic stop) and the ABS does not seem to be working. I mean, I didnt hear the familliar sound of the ABS kicking on or the pulsation of the brakes. I also think the traction control may not be working because it too makes a strange noise when there is tire slippage (when its working properly). Its not making that sound either. So, what exactly happened? I mean, its not like I was going 40 when I hit the rock, more like 10mph. I sort of slid down a hill and saw a deep little dip and attempted to slow before I hit it. So, the ABS was kicking on when I hit the rock/gully with the tire. Then bump and all the lights come on.

So what exactly happened? Did I break the freaking ABS/TC system or just damaged the sensor. Does the TC and ABS system work on a closed circuit - meaning all the sensors have to be working in order for it to function?

Anyway, thanks Mike!

Normally when the 3 Amigo's come on it is because of a little glitich, in your case with the ABS not pulsating, it went father then that and there will probably be a part or two needed. The only way to tell fo sure is to take it to a shop that is able to read the ABS codes.
I wish I could say this is going to be a cheap fix, but it may not be.
If you get the codes read, get back to me and let me know what they find, get an estimate on parts and labor and maybe I can help then.

Right-on! Well, thanks and I know of a local shop that charges $40 for a "scan" reading of the codes. I'll find out what the details are and get back to you!

Much Appreciated Mike!

You probably have a shuttle valve switch fault or an ABS signal erratic fault.
