having trouble using the jaguar mongoose cannot go any futher than this screen (see attachment) the vehicle was a 2009 xkr.
what is the next proccedure to move on from this screen?


any one ever deal with this tool?

What year is your LR? According to that site, it will only function on 2005 and newer vehicles.

 

Nevermind... I see it's an '09 XKR.

And I also see that this is your first post.

Not sure if trolling or genuinely unsure about tool...

 

2005 & later only applies to Land Rover vehicles. For Jaguar, it goes back much further (1999??)

Second, all the way in the upper right, the Icon with the globe and the arrow indicates that you need to update your IDS. Not updating could block you from doing programming and may lock you out of using it at all (I've never waited that long to find out).

To answer your question, that screen just shows you the status of the modules. To do any kind of work, you need to click one of the icons across the bottom that say "Campaigns, Diagnostics, Special Functions, etc..." depending on what you need to do.

 

But this Mongoose is the newest version, V130.

 

Patch updates come out around every 29 days. The current version is V130.06

If your unit goes 29 days without an update, that icon appears and you may start getting popup messages.
