I just got the call from my wife, the truck hesitated on a hill and she said it lost power. Once she got to the top of the hill she put the Disco into neutral and revved it up to 4000rpm she said. As soon as she gunned it, the check engine light came on? I am away right now and haven’t had a chance to look at. I bought this truck on Saturday from a dealer and today is Monday
I am reading these posts and starting to feel

Any one have a suggestion, fuel pump or O2 sensors or all of the above????

I say take it right back to the dealer... if its within a 30 day period there must be some kind of recourse right???

 

i would def return to the selling dealer and see about your options--i would for your own piece of mind have the codes read at an autozone for free or get a cheap scanner but don't clear them --you wanna know a little info before you step up to bat....to me it sounds like possible low fuel pressure of misfires but knowing the codes will steer you in the right direction
