Hi, my second post in this forum after introduction and my apology this one has to be about a problem with my car. Hoping for some help soonest.
Car was overheating and the garage replaced coolant pump, reservoir, top hose that runs between the two cylinder heads and even changed head gasket and all the bits that came with the gasket kit. Car seems to run normally and at stable normal temperature.
Then a few other things developed soon after. There is this weird sound coming from under dash/ transmission tunnel cover upon start up and and turning off and lasts a few seconds. My idle is not smooth anymore and the engine check sign comes on and sometimes with 'reduced engine performance' note. I've not driven it since hoping for some advice before sending it back to the garage.
Read somewhere re backward wiring possibility to the coolant pump somewhere could lead to this or is it something else.
Really appreciate expert advice.

Take it back to the garage that you had the work done and let them access the fault codes , that will point you in the right direction they do have problem with the auxiliary water pump for the supercharger.hope this help
