Default Land Rover II Trim

Hi All,

Would appreciate if someone could tell me how to remove the plastic trim on the pillar posts (exterior) on the 2001 Discovery, in plain English would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Harry

Take the plastic rivets out, three on each side. Pull the push pins in the center out and then the rest of the rivet will pop out. Then carefully start at the top where it contacts the wind screen and pull it away from the glass. You will need to pull up while gently pushing in on the curved surface. It will pop loose. There are three metal connectors that attach it to the body. The plastic trim will pop out of these. One at the top and bottom, one in the center.

Install in the reverse order. Putting them back on is 10x the fun! Once you get the hang of it, its a breeze.

Thank you very much for that, I apologies, I should have said that it was the C Pillar (behind the rear window) that I was asking about.

Thanks in advance
