Land Rover Starts then Shuts Down??
I have a 2007 Land Rover (if it helps it’s a 4.4L?). A couple days ago it started having an issue where it would take a long time to crank. If it did finally crank, it would last a couple seconds and then sort of just “shut down” in way. Not sure what actually shut down, it was just an audible difference where everything got quieter. The car would still be running but it wouldn’t actually drive anywhere, and the battery light would come on, so I did what I think any person would do and bought a new battery.
I replaced the battery myself as I’ve done a million times in my past cars, though this is the first time this car’s battery has been replaced since I got it a few months ago. That seemed to help at first, but now it’s just doing the same thing it did before. I’ve already had the alternator replaced, so it can’t be that. Any ideas what the heck is wrong? Did I mess something up in the computer? Nothing special happened between it acting fine and then the new issues a couple days ago.
