I have a 97 tdi 4cyl that wont turn over or fire i have ruled out the battery and been leaning towards the starter as using a multi meter i have been unable to read any power at the starter motor i was almost about to give up on her but i tapped what i think is a relay or possibly the starter solenoid which is attached to the firewall on the passenger side and it started straight away ive provided a pic does anyone know what it is i thought the starter solenoid was attached to the starter and there's not much room to trace the wires back any help would be appreciated the part looks easy to exchange im hoping to identify and order a new one before the problem returns.
