Loading CD's in a LR3

Just boughta LR3 and I am waiting on a manual. I need to load the 6 disc changer and cannot get it to accept the disc. Can someone explain how to load them to make sure I am doing it right?

you have to select the number 1-6 on which cd you want loaded so select cd mode then push preset 1 and insert disc repeat 2-6
