Lost Locking Wheel Lug Key - What To Do?
Apologies if I posted this in the wrong subforum.
The tire shop unfortunately lost my locking wheel lug key the last time they swapped my wheels/tires. Problem is, I didn't realize this till much later (when I'm trying to put the winter tires back on), so it's long gone.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement, and hopefully one that doesn't break the bank? From what I hear these are specific to the vehicle, or at least there are several variations of them. This is for a '16 LR4.
Once I get them off I think I want to just get a regular lug to replace the locking one. This is a real headache!
Thanks in advance if anyone has some good advice.

I doubt that you’ll find one. This happened on my Mom-in-Laws car a few years ago. I had to hammer on a nut remover (like an Easy-Out but opposite) to remove them. The tool should be available at a local tool shop. Maybe your tire shop that lost the tool can remove them.
Providing you have OE Land Rover wheel locks then give Mcgard in Orchard Park, NY a call/email.
They make the locking nuts and the replacement keys.
If they don't have a listing on the site don't panic just call them. They can match the pattern from a photo of your wheel locks.
I've done this many times for friends that think these things work.... me not so much.
Have at it > https://mcgard.com/
Good Luck!
