LR remote app not working

LR remote app not working
All the features of the LR remote app work on our 2018 Discovery except the remote start...the one we
need the most? Any advice on how to fix? Not sure if related but key fob(s) would
not connect to vehicle for push button start. Had to hold fob against steering column to start.
