Hi everyone, my 08 LR2 has been dropping into neutral when I try to speed up to pass anyone on the highway. It has been happening at roughly 50 mph and above. When it happens, the engine revs really high, then when I slow down, it jerks back into gear. The shifter does not move. It often happens many times in a row, but I'm not sure if it happens every time it shifts up. It's almost like it slips out of the highest gear every time I try to get into it, but I'm not sure. Or like it won't get into that highest gear and instead goes into neutral.

*******I realize that I explained this backwards. The car would actually be dropping into a lower gear so it gets more power. But it shouldn't be dropping into neutral!

Any thoughts?
