Default LR2 Key/Alarm Issues- please help I'm supposed to move out of state tomorrow!

OK guys here's the deal:

My 2010 LR2 would not accept my key a few days ago.. The fob would unlock and lock all the doors but the key dock would not recieve the key. When I try to force it in the alarm goes off. I figured it might be a battery issue and I'm moving out of state this weekend so I decided to use my other key until I had time to look into the problem. My other key worked fine for several days but now, out of nowhere, it will not start the vehicle. The key will dock and all the electrical components of the car work fine but the ignition button does nothing.

Long story short: key #1 wont dock. Key #2 will dock fine but not start the vehicle.

The red alarm light flashes like this: 1,2,3 1,2,3, 1,2,3

The battery seems fine and I'm pretty sure I have done something to the alarm system that is causing my problems. I am supposed to drive this car across the country this weekend so any info that can help me out would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

Key 1 most likely needs a new battery. Key 2 not sure, but the symptoms point to a bad starter or starter button

Want to point out I am not a LR2 expert in any way.
