Can't Move Gear From Parking Position 97 Disco, Please Help

Default Can't Move Gear From Parking Position 97 Disco, Please Help

There a swicth from the pedal brake that is making a electric cut, and the gear is block , is imposible to move from parking, the mechanic that is working in the car, change the switch and now again happen and is block in neutral, can somedody please tell me what to do. I will apreciate thanks.

I am not sure what is happening but if you are having a problem shifting into drive and you have replaced the switch then there is a solenoid in the tranny that is causing the problem.

Thanks Mike for the answer I would check that selenoide, the release for the key is affected to and the stop lights are not working.

If your brake lights are not working then it has to be a bad brake light switch.
