I'm in the middle of a road trip down the Coast from Canada and have developed a 'shimmy' at hwy speed, particularly when breaking. I had a garage in San Fran take a look at it and they confirmed the tie-rods were in need of replacement but they couldn't get parts (end of day on a Sat and everything closed on the Sunday).

Now I'm in Santa Barbara and need to take it in tomorrow morning - of course I don't have any local knowledge of who is good and dependable/trustworthy. I see that there is a local dealer but to be honest I've had mixed results with work done direct at the dealers at home.... Thought I'd drop a quick plea here for any advice on where to go
