Hello all, newbie Land Rover owner here. A while ago, I bought a '94 Discovery with 163k miles to work on, and the tranny has always been very clunky. It clunks loudly when I push in the clutch (usually when shifting from first to second) and when I let it back in. I've noticed that the front driveline has a little bit of play in it. Is this a fixable issue or a very worn out transmission? I wanted to consult the internet for some advice before I jump to any conclusions.

Land Rover Toolbox has some very helpful videos. Bottom line, nearly anything in the R380 is serviceable....with some work.
