Ok, Soory I didn't post in nubi area first....
have multi issues..

Have:
96 Disco I 3.9L V8

Issues:
run's fine for 20-30 min... idle or at speed...
then engine starts too hesitate/ surge/ cut out...
engine occasionally idles high (1500rpm)

Replaced:
TPS (was faulty to begin with)
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Wires

End:
Still cuts out when driving or idling

Help? Ideas?

 

Sounds like a bad VSS (vehicle sped sensor), it is the trucks speed limiter, its cuts spark to the cylinders to slow you down.
When it goes bad it will cut spark at random.

 

is there a bypass for that?

 

A by pass for the VSS? No.
You need to replace it.
