Default My '93 Rover won't start. PLEASE HELP!

Hi guys. Bought my first rover afew days ago. It's the county lwb. I got it friday and it fired right up but you had to floor it to start. Put some ethanol free premium in it with some octane booster. It had been sitting ~7months, but had a recently installed, rebuilt motor with 80k on it. When the engine was cold it would start with the floored pedal. But once it had warmed up and turned off it wouldn't start. It has new wires and plugs. No warning lights in the dash came on when attempting to start. I've been searching on here to find out where to start but alot of the results were for discos and I didn't know if they shared the same set of problems/solutions. When I turn the key I hear the humming (I would assume the fuel pump) and the starter turns it over. Battery is new. I'm going to replace the fuel filter. Where is it located on these things? Easy to get to? I'm also going to fiddle with the inertia switch. The vehicle hasn't been in an impact since I had it running that would trigger that switch but I know very little about these machines. I tested the spark between the coil and distributor, plenty of spark. What should I do? What could it be? Thanks for all of your help.

after sitting for that long i would first start by changing the fuel filter, might be stoped up with old gas and what not.

I did some trouble shooting. There's juice getting to the pump. But no signs of it working (noise/vibration). A new pump is on the way. Gotta new filter for it also. Wish me luck.
