My radio died! Help!!!
I recently bought a 2000 Discovery. Everything worked great as well as the radio.
The other day I drained the battery...leaving the lights on. I had a guy jump it. i think i crossed up the cables for a second and tossed a few sparks. Eventually I got it figured out and it started fine.
BUT....since then the radio has been dead, black, out cold. I have tried all fuses and checked whatever wiring i could. nothing!!!
it has the stock radio in it.
FYI ---I drained the batt a few weeks prior and the radio worked fine after charging.
HELP!!!!

Depending on which model of radio you have determines the exact fuses involved. But you should also know that you will have several other fuse links in the underhood fuse box that may be involved. If you had the barebones stock unit, links 1,3,7,8, & 13 should be checked. Fuses inside truck 16,20,26, 33.

I have heard that the metal runners from hanging file holders also work as radio removal tools.
If a Land Rover dealership is not within driving distance to get a radio code, the can provide you with a code after proof of identity, and vehicle ownership (fax them a copy of your DL and title).
