Default In need of Tool advice

I live in Costa Rica and just purchased a 1973 Series 3. It's a british motor, as some here were Brazilian. I know that there are certain tools, and probably certain parts that I should expect to have extras of that are hard to get here, so I'd like to order them to my US address and bring them down with me. What would be a good list of standard tools to have, specialty tools to have, and extra parts to have on hand? Thanks very much.

Is it a petrol (gasoline) engine or diesel?

Does it have the hand crank hole in the front bumper? I dont think the diesels had the hand crank option but if so I would buy a hand crank.
As for parts, fuel filters, timing belt kit.
I cant really think of anything else, radiator hoses and belts.
