Default new 1997 discovery SD owner

Hello, I am a new 1997 owner and I am already having problems. This discovery ran great for a week and this sunday morning it will not start. Now that I think of the only that changed is that I read somewhere that I can put middle grade 89octane in the disco. I put ten gallon Exxon and it ran okay. I will not do that again. Could this cause the disco not to start or is there a history for starting problems. Is there a good place to take it to for service including the landrover dealership in new york city anywhere. Also where is a good website or location to get less expensive part and service in NYC. My mechanic can not figure out why it will not start. Help

The fuel has nothing to do with it.

A list of what your mechanic checked would help.
Going on what he should have checked already did you try the fuel cut off switck?
Its next to the window washer jug on the fire wall push the button on top.

We need to know more.

Never run any gas except for high octane gas. This hasn't caused your problem.
Why don't you call me and I will try and walk you thru what needs to be checked.
