Default Need Advice

Hi,

I am new to this forum and purchasing a LR. Growing up my parents always had older Range Rovers. My wife and I own a mountain bike Tour and Instruction company in Northern Vermont and are in the market for a Land Rover of some sort. My cap for a vehicle is around $10k. I have been looking at Discoverys, LR3's and Range Rovers. I know that these vehicles have some reliability issues but I was trying to get some direction on which would incur the least amount of post-purchase investment. I am basically looking for any sort of insight to help make my purchasing decision smarter and thought this would be the place to come. Thanks so much!

Collin

Why I never use AC as many lazy so called journalists do, giving me a underline as a warning may slow me down but results better.

Thanks for heads up, added title to my reply so these guys may be able to figure out our posts.

Buy an LR3. The 4.4 V8 Jag motor is the most reliable gasoline motor Land Rover has used this far.

The earlier sports have the same motor but for your business the cargo space and option of 7 seats is better, in my opinion.

But, no matter what model you buy you should be ready to do maintenance. If you are not going to handle yourself, make sure you have a good independent mechanic you are comfortable with.
