Angry new battery accidently immobilized engine please help

2001 disco II SE would not start got jump but did not work. Battery checked out as having dead cell. New battery installed and now wont turn over. I figured I immobilized engine. Tried the 1-5-1-5 code resent with key but no luck. Does anyone know the right procedure? got to be off early tomorrow.

Lock and unlock the door 3 times in a row, also reset the inerita switch on the fire wall near the heater hoses.
