Default New Battery VS radio, Disco 04 HSE

After replacing the battery, audio requires a code...
I 've waited 1 hour and 15 min ( as per LR tech ),with the keys in position 2. I've inserted the code that was listed in the owner manual...
But NO JOY !!!
Anyone with a magic fix ?
Merci...
Laurent

I have the same problem, I just replaced my battery yesterday (forgetting newer cars now use codes) and LR wants to charge me an arm and a leg to put the code in for me. They gave me the password, but neither of the service men (San Antonio LR) know how to input the code. I've got an 04 HSE Disco and they're telling me there is a different variation of inputting codes for disco's with navi and w/o it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Oh and btw I bought my used (have had it for a year - already took care of the three amigos) and it didn't come with the owners manual, thanks...

Hello Gentlemen,

My Discovery is an HSE 2004 with the navigation system.
I have the code but it is not taking it....
Very Frustrating indeed.

What else can I do ?
