Default New Owner Fearing the Worst - Oil Leak - Charlotte

Hi All,

Earlier this week, I purchased a 2004 LR Disco II with 125K on it. First time LR owner but has always been an itch for one. After driving it around for a few days I started to notice the slight smell of burning oil and when parked for a few hours a small oil stain would appear under the car. So tonight I finally had some time to get under the car and am now very concerned, there are spots of oil/build up, and what I assume to be coolant, all over the driver side of the underbody. Did not have the chance to take pictures but my car looks eerily similar to the one in this video:

.

I am in the Charlotte area and would greatly appreciate any advice on where to take the car to get a more knowledgeable opinion on what I might be looking at in terms of repairs (probably goes without saying, but am looking to avoid the stealership)

Thanks in advance.

start by pressure test you cooling system and stop that leak number 1.
the degrease the engine so that you can tell what you are looking at
