new owner and have a a few questions...
just aquired a 01 land rover SD with 12,200 miles, yea thats not a accident, 12k, and was wondering what it has for front and rear diffs. i am an off road guy buut havent touched anything more than Jeeps and Fjs for hard wheeling. this most likely wont be a wheeler but i was wondering if it has open diffs or limited slip diffs?
The diff assemblies are made by Rover, are you planning to go to lockers, if so you will need to see if your truck has a locking t/case.
E-mail me and I'll send a picture of what you need to look for.
12,000 miles, that is great.
Don't forget you will, even though the mileage is low, want to change out some fluids.

all the tboxes are locking you just need to make a linkage to lock the case, ive done several and just made a simple shifter with a cable, through the trim of the bottom of the drivers seat, you pull it to lock the diffs
