Default no pressure on the engine.

Ok guys this is kind of a long story so bear with me.

I have a 2003 land rover discovery with 130000 miles on it. It all started with a bad flywheel. I changed it and put everything it started right up shift to gear and drove off. I drove for about a quarter mile then the transmission failed. So, i have to drop the transmission again and replaced the transmission oil pump and the torque converter. I once again put everything back and when i tried to fire it up the truck would only crank. As i was inspecting the vehicle i noticed that the crank position sensor was caught right in between the transmission bell housing and the engine. I cut the wires and replaced them but no luck. I checked and the truck has spark and gas. So a buddy of mine checked thru the spark plugs for engine compression and its at 30 psi. he told me that i probably had bad valves so I replace the head gaskets and send my headers to get resurfaced and to get all the valves re seated with new valve rubbers. I finished putting my truck back together and when i started it the same thing happend crank but no fire. has good fuel pressure and spark but compresison is still at 30 psi. Could this be a bad ecu? or something else? any help would me appriciated.

cabrera, if your compression is 30psi across de 8 cylinders de same, you have timing chain trouble, it probably jumped one or two notches.

Hell of a diagnosis!

I'm just curious, did this result in any valve damage?

And how in the heck did you get your front cover off with the oil pan in place?

The oil pan has been dropped down slightly to clear the two studs in the cover. And yes there should be valve damage.
