Default no spark after head gaskets replaced

bought a 2001 range rover HSE 4.6 for $300, it ran but got hot quickly. previous owner was fed up so just let it go. i got it, ran it a little then parked it to be worked on later. went out to start it made a loud pop noise and wouldn't start, so i replaced the CPS and pushed it into my shop realized it had a blown horn fuse replaced it and everything ran as it should. got coolant into the engine which must of been he cooling issue because it didn't get hot again even under load but it was blowing a lot of white smoke. so i decided to pull the heads I've done many head gasket jobs before so not really a big deal, but.....

now i'm all back together have good engine and body grounds, but i have no spark, OBII reader shows RPMs when cranking so i believe that rules the CPS out. engine will crank and crank and crank but no spark what so ever. how likely is it the coil went bad in the few days it sat out of the rover. spark plugs are fairly new probably last 1000 miles or so.

Press the inertia switch on the firewall (if yours has one).

Are you sure all of the various wires are plugged back in properly? Pretty unlikely that the coils would go bad from just sitting around for a few days.

I did that last night for a few hours checked all grounds and connections.

Another weird thing my key fob doesn’t unlock or lock the doors red light on the fob lights up but nothing happens. But also didn’t work before the head job but would start the vehicle.

I shouldn’t have. Unless it got bumped and knocked off and I didn’t notice.
