not starting 2010 defender
As much information up front will help others to help you. What configuration do you have? How did the fuel get contaminated? Did the entire vehicle go swimming or was it just bad fuel? Try to anticipate questions and provide the info up front, there is much wisdom to be tapped here.
fuel with dirt and water from drums in bush in Guyana, SA. drained filter, and tank, no fuel reaching engine. Probale air-lock, but no idea how to bleed--v limited resources.
Start by following the fuel rail on the engine, start in the front and work backwards and look for a bleed screw.
Once you find it have someone turn on the key and crank the engine for 30 seconds while you loosen the screw.
Close screw and stop cranking the engine.
Wait 30 seconds to allow the starter to cool, repeat until fuel comes out of the bleed screw.
Also make sure the fuel filter is full of fuel before you start this procedure.
And if you have a starting aid, like either, use that in the air intake while cranking the engine over.
If you can get it running on a starting aid or by pouring a small amount of fuel into the air intake it will bleed itself.
But it needs to run long enough to bleed itself.
