P1178 MAF Sensor
Hah, finally got outta the garage.
Swivel pin preload and panhard bushes and bolts straightened the steering up pretty good, think we#re down to a set of shocks.
On the top side, I had the P1178 code, so I took off the plenum and throttle body, torqued the intake bolts (they were a bit backed off but not much) cleaned and regasketed the plenum (ssomebody had put bathtub sealer on it) picked up a MAF snsor o-ring (it was gone) and air filter(had one in it wrong size, about a half inch too short what a cob job).
Still brings up P1178. if I let ig go a while, it will also occasionally kick up a circuit 1 bank1 O-2 sensor, but I think that is because of the fuel air imbalance.
Ok, you guys know the history, what do ya think before I order a MAF sensor?
I#m learnin disos the hard way, but I'm not bitchin appreciate you folks helpin a displaced Ohio boy in Germany.
