Anyone have any experience with the driveshaft for Disco II from this website? http://www.4046363636.com/
As it turns out, I will not be able to update the lifespan of the shaft; my wife totalled the Disco!
And, yes, she walked away without so much as a scratch! I love Land Rovers!!
I have had alot of luck with http://www.roverpartswest.com. Mostly genuine parts and som offroad accessories. Also they have their own catalog sytem. Saved me some time and money.
I don't have actual numbers, but if you look on the sticker of a brand new car, it will usually show where it was assembled, where the engine was manufactured, and where the transmission was manufactured. If you can get all three of those to be USA, then that's a start.
Gee, with a Land ROver built in England, getting all US parts wll be a struggle. Same for BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, etc. The US auto industry, if it can't compete, should meet the fate of the television industry - is there a "made in USA " on your flat screen?
i found www.roversnorth.com doesnt seem to have AS much stuff though.
