when i was out yesterday i came across a product by the compnay car plan.
the bottle said
empty all the contents of this bottle into the fuel tank of a diesle vehicle
it said this would happen
increase BHP by 10%
lower fuel consupmtion
lower fuel emisions

does anyone know if this is anygood or just a lame scam ?

The bottle is a cetane boost also I bet.
If you have never run any injector cleaner it may help
up to what point who knows.
The 10 bhp is worst case.
I have a VW TDI with a Ups chip large injectors and use a cetane booster ever time I full up.
The diesel here in the U.S. leaves a bit to desire.

and by the way does it make the car more responsive or faster ?

 

By worst bit, if the injectors are 1/2 pluged you have carbon build up just a
mess someone that has not taken care of anything only 1% is this bad.
Some of the additives make my car smoke less , some make it feel
faster. I can tell when I get higher cetane diesel it makes everthing
much smoother and faster.
Also most additives have a injector pump lube.
You may have to change your fuel filter after you try it
some time there is a varnish build it will clean out of the tank.
Only bad diesel will have a little build up, I think you have good
diesel. We have cheap diesel, cost and quality .
