Default PLEASE HELP: What Kind of Engine is this?

I picked up a '93 RRC project car, and have discovered my engine may not be original. Upon further inspection by two different mechanics and a parts supplier here, the parts supplier didn't know, one mechanic said that this was a 200tdi and the other mechanic said that it's a 300tdi. I even posted on rangerovers.net forum but no responses so far...

I'm excited to join this community but also confused and need to know asap so I can start ordering parts, to get the build back on schedule (I'm in a part of the world where we don't have access to these things so easily).

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

(Easiest way to tell them apart is the 300 tdi has a serpentine belt. 200 has v belts)

Thank you! I'll try to swing by the car and see. If necessary I can take some more pictures today of the belts to verify.

looks like I have v belts and a 200, not the 300… I hope they weren’t changed at some point. I’ll try to inspect the head as well. Does anyone know where the engine number usually is on these engines?
