Default Plug recommendations on a 1998 D2
I’m changing the plugs and was looking for a good mid priced plug. I currently have Motorcraft AGS32C but they’re shot

Just a heads up your '98 is a D1 not a D2.

Please don't waste your time or money on anything platinum.

If you need Wires, go with STI-663 > https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/lan...scovery-hls102

that is a newbie mistake 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

thanks for the tip on the wires. Are coil pacs there too?

GEMS & BOSCH LR V8's run fine on Platinum/Double Platinum or Iridium Plugs. I've used NGK with great results along with the Autolite Platinum/Iridium Plugs. It's the Bosch stuff you'll want to avoid with the 2x or 4x setup or where the electrode is flush with the insulator.

Be particularly careful with plug #8 (rear passenger) as the exhaust manifold can impede some of the larger plug sockets and you can wind up cross threading the plug.
