Default Proper wash method for a D2 engine 2004

This weekend I played in the mud! Very fun! But the engine is now filthy.

Someone said to use a presume washer to was the engine. And I am quite sure that is NOT the right way to do it.

What is the right way to wash the engine without causing harm?

Looks like you had some good clean fun
Yes you are fine with a pressure, just not full on at any of the electro ice. Keep it at a somewhat fanned out position and keep the wand moving.
Most people I know seem to just use a local self serve car wash bay and save the driveway cleanup.

I just did mine. I always use a pressure washer. I usually don't hit the area around the fuel injectors. I keep computers/electronics wrapped in a plastic bag or two.

Thanks for the input!

I went to the self wash. Turned on the engine and used the low pressure. Seams fine and a ok!
